Fed up with a seven-year wait for a decision from the Court of Appeal, an elderly woman is asking the High Court to sanction the Appeal’s Court and award her damages and costs.
The matter stems from a land dispute in the Paynes Bay, St James area, in which Shirley Nicholas was a party.
The High Court matter was filed more than 20 years, on May 27, 2004, while the appeal was filed on April 16, 2014. (HLE)
