Junior Scott, 58, of Lot 1B, Quarry Road, St Thomas, identified as the latest road fatality victim in a collision involving a car and a bicycle on Coles Cave Road, St Lucy. Ninth road fatality this year.

The country’s latest road fatality victim has been identified as Junior Scott, 58, of Lot 1B, Quarry Road, St Thomas.
Scott died following a collision in St Lucy Sunday morning.
Police said the collision happened around 8:45 and involved a car and a bicycle. They were travelling in opposite directions along Coles Cave Road in the vicinity of the Grape Hall Seventh Day Adventist Church.
The cyclist was transported by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he died whilst receiving medical treatment.
Scott is the ninth person killed in a collision on the country’s roads this year.
Investigations are ongoing.
