Update – The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) is carrying out investigations into a shooting incident, which occurred about 11:17 a.m. on Monday 30th December 2024 at Rendezvous, Christ Church.
The victim, a male in his early 20’s, was outside an establishment when he was shot multiple times by a number of unknown males. He fell to the ground with several injuries to his body and the men then drove away in a white motor car registration unknown.
The victim was subsequently transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Q.E.H) in a private motor car.
Investigations are continuing into this matter.
Anyone, who can provide any information that can assist with these investigations, is asked to call the Hastings Worthings Police Station at 836-0991 or 836-0992, Police Emergency 211, Crime Stoppers at 1800-TIPS (8477) or the nearest Police Station.
One man was taken for medical treatment after being shot multiple times along the South Coast this morning.
When a Nation team arrived at the scene near junction of Worthing and Rendezvous, Christ Church, the victim had already been taken to the hospital by private vehicle.
The shooting occurred at the Devachan Bar and Grill around 11 a.m.
