Unnatural Death at Apes Hill: One Fatality, One Injured in Construction Accident

"Law enforcement responds to an incident at Apes Hill, St James where two construction workers reportedly fell from scaffolding, resulting in one fatality and injury to another worker."
Police are on the scene of an unnatural death at Apes Hill, St James.
Lawmen said they received a report that two men fell from scaffolding while doing construction work on a building located at Lot C4 Apes Hill around 8:20 a.m.
One man died on the spot and the other worker was transported to the hospital via ambulance. The injured man complained of back pains and pain to his lower limbs.
The scaffolding was said to be approximately 30-40 feet high.
Police said the deceased is a 51-year-old man, who is a Guyanese national but a resident of Barbados.
The other injured man is 50 years old.
