Whitfield Rudolph Thomas was today remanded to prison after appearing in court accused of killing his wife.
Thomas, 74, of Emerald Park West, Saint Philip, is charged with murdering 52-year-old Daphne Thomas on September 20. He faced the charge before Magistrate Joyann Clarke in the District ‘C’ Magistrates’ Court.
The victim, a prison officer, was found dead at home after police responded to a report of an altercation between a man and a woman.
Thomas will reappear in court on October 28.
