Police in the Southern Division are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of 60-year-old Anderson Beetram Bradshaw of College Savannah, St. John.
His body was found unresponsive after being pulled from the water at Consett Bay around 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 3.
According to reports, Bradshaw was seen entering the water near the Consett Bay jetty around 3:50 p.m. A few minutes later, onlookers noticed he was in some difficulty. The alarm was raised and a resident from the area went to his assistance and brought him to shore.
Personnel from the Barbados Ambulance Service responded but found no signs of life. A medical doctor later pronounced him dead at the scene.
