Former bank teller Kevin DaCosta Cadogan told police he and another man were “only trying to frighten” a bank account holder because of what they had done.
So said Constable Paul Adamson as he testified in the conduct endangering life trial of Cadogan in the No. 4 Supreme Court yesterday.
Cadogan, of Arthur’s Seat, St Thomas, is accused of unlawfully and maliciously engaging in conduct, on August 24, 2011, which placed Bank of Nova Scotia account holder Hortense Williams in danger of death or serious bodily harm.
The lawman said he went to Williams’ house on August 24, 2011, as a result of a report she made to police.
She showed him her left hand, which was bloody, a hole in the insect screen of the window and several holes in the curtain. He searched and found a piece of lead on the floor. (HLE)
