Giovonte Depeiza's century rescues Superb Blendz Gladiola in Barbados Cricket Association elite three-day competition. Rondre Yearwood shines with four wickets as Pickwick gains early advantage. Bolden and Parris star for Wildey.

eading run scorer in the Barbados Cricket Association elite three-day competition Giovonte Depeiza recorded a century to rescue Superb Blendz Gladiola from 84 for six to a first innings total of 210 all out against ESA Field Pickwick after day one of the sixth series of games.
Coming into the series, Depeiza recorded three half centuries while being the leading run scorer with a total of 363 in five matches.
Left arm spinner Rondre Yearwood broke through to capture three early wickets to help Pickwick gain the early advantage before Depeiza and Michael Agard were able to steady the ship with a 68 run partnership.
Depeiza scored 107 in 156 balls with seven threes and four fours.
Yearwood bagged four for 58 in 19 overs while Ajani Waterman picked up three for 52.
At the end of the day’s play Pickwick are nine for one in three overs.

Nimar Bolden and Shane Parris shared a 114-run third wicket partnership as Wildey declared their innings at 252/4 after 49 overs against IGS Insurance Brokers Yorkshire.
The in-form Bolden batted for 78 balls and fell 10 runs short of a second consecutive century when he was run-out on 90 runs (nine fours and one six) while Parris scored a patient 80 in 129 balls with six fours and two sixes.
Jofra Archer, batting at number five, wasted no time in closing the innings when he played a number of extravagant shots all over the field. Archer made 46 not-out in just 29 balls with three fours and four sixes before the declaration came as Wildey reached their third batting point at the 250-run mark.
In their turn at the crease, Yorkshire are 43 for two in 15 overs.

Eighteen-year-old Zion Brathwaite batted superbly for the BCA Youth before he was run-out 15 runs short of a century against Fusionz Boutique Spartan.
Braithwaite, batting at number four, scored 85 in 99 balls with nine fours and three sixes.
Riviera Cottle and Dre Springer added 63 for the ninth wicket to push the Youth squad to 252 before they were bowled out in 67.5 overs to close the day.
Left arm spinner Andre Marshall was the pick of the bowlers yet again as he bagged another five-fer with figures of 5-55 in 22 overs.
