Damp outfields at both the Desmond Haynes Oval and North Stars resulted in an early abandonment without play in both matches on the opening day of the Barbados Cricket Association (BCA) Legends three-day series, formerly known as Barbados trials.
In the first of three scheduled matches, Sir Garfield Sobers Giants squad take on Sir Wesley Hall Chiefs at the Desmond Haynes Oval, while Sir Gordon Greenidge Trail Blazers meet Sir Charles Griffith Titans at North Stars.
Persistent rains earlier in the week wreaked havoc around the country, preventing any possible preparation for play.
