Sada Williams Shines with Bronze Medal Performance at World Championships: Minister of Sports Congratulates the Barbadian Athlete

Sada Williams, Barbadian athlete, receives congratulations from Minister of Sports Charles Griffith for her bronze medal performance in the 400 meters at the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary.

Minister of Sports, Charles Griffith is the latest to congratulate Williams on her bronze medal performance at yesterday’s World Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
Williams clocked 49.60 seconds to finish third behind eventual winner Marileidy Paulino of the Dominican Republic in 48.76 seconds, while Poland’s Natalia Kaczmarek took silver in 49.57 seconds.
“I am absolutely thrilled to celebrate this incredible achievement by one of our nation’s brightest stars in the world of athletics. It is my honour, as Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment, to extend our warmest congratulations and well wishes to Sada Williams for her bronze medal in the 400 metres at the World Athletic Championships!” Griffith said in a statement today.
The Sports Minister said the 25-year-old’s performance had won the hearts of Barbadians.
