Amendments Made to Safety and Health at Work (Workstation) Regulations, 2022: Key Updates and Contact Information

The Ministry of Labour, Social Security, and Third Sector announces amendments to the Safety and Health at Work (Workstation) Regulations, 2022, now allowing optometrists to perform required eye health assessments. The Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Third Sector is advising all employers, employees and their representatives that amendments have been made to the Safety and Health at Work (Workstation) Regulations, 2022.
The Safety and Health at Work (Workstation) (Amendment) Regulations, 2023 were recently published in the Official Gazette VOL. CLVIII No. 88, on August 28, 2023.
The Safety and Health at Work (Workstation) (Amendment) Regulations, 2023 now also allows optometrists to conduct the assessments of eye health that are required under these Regulations.
