Highway 4 Closure for Milling and Paving in St. George, Barbados: Ministry of Works Announces Road Works Under Accelerated Mill and Pave Programme
From Saturday, the Ministry of Works will be milling and paving Highway 4 in St George, resulting in road closures. Local access only. Diversion routes will be in place.

From Saturday the Ministry of Works (MTW) will be milling and then paving Highway 4 from Constant Roundabout to Salters in St George. Therefore the road will be closed between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. today and tomorrow.
During this time, MTW’s contractor, C.O. Williams Construction Limited, will mill the 2.5 km road. Work will continue on Monday to Friday when paving is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., pending weather.
Road users are advised that traffic will be restricted to local access only. Signage and personnel will be in place to alert road users. Drivers who approach Constant Roundabout heading towards Salters main road will be diverted through Constant or Dash Valley. Motorists coming from the Norman Niles Roundabout heading towards Constant will be diverted at Salters.
Work on Highway 4 from Constant Roundabout to Salters, St George, is being done under the recently announced Accelerated Mill and Pave Programme. The full list of roads under this initiative will be released shortly. (PR/MTW)
