Defending champions Shirley Chisholm Primary have sent an early warning to their rivals after a dominant display in the National Sports Council Pedialyte Sport Primary School Netball Competition playoffs.
Playing at Gall Hill, St John on Wednesday, Shirley Chisholm cruised into the quarter-finals with a commanding 24–5 victory over Holy Innocent Primary. They led 12–2 at half-time and maintained full control throughout the match.
St Giles Primary also booked their quarter final spot, following an 11-4 victory over Blackman & Gollop, while Christ Church Girls eased past St Lucy Primary 19-4 and Belmont Primary trailed 4-7 at half time, before rallying to edge out Reynold Weekes 12-10.
West Terrace were emphatic as they blanked Grazettes 16-0 and All Saints defeated Grantley Prescod 13-5, while Wilkie Cumberbatch recorded a 16-3 win over St Bartholomew.
Hilda Skeene also booked their place in Friday’s quarter finals, after narrowly defeating St Paul’s 9-8.
