Premier League sides Ellerton, Gall Hill, and Paradise delivered commanding performances on Monday night to book their places in the next round of the Barbados Football Association Champions Cup.
Paradise produced the most emphatic result of the evening, dismantling Glebe 5–0. Ellerton were pushed far harder but held their nerve in a tight 3–2 victory over Technique, while Eyre’s Meat Shop Pride of Gall Hill ensured a clean sweep for Premier League teams with a narrow 1–0 win against Chickmount FC.
Division One representatives also made their mark. Pro Shottas progressed with a composed 2–0 win over Caribbean United, while Maxwell edged past Hillaby 1–0.
In the other games Youngboyz stunned Police 3–1, Whitehall outlasted Deacons 3–2 in a competitive battle, and Barbados Soccer Academy survived a tense encounter, defeating L&R United 5–4 on penalties after a 1–1 draw.
