Flash Flood Warning for Barbados Discontinued as Rainfall Decreases, Unstable Conditions Expected

The flash flood warning has been discontinued as shower activity has significantly decreased. Unstable conditions will persist overnight with light to moderate showers possible.

Throughout the morning and into the afternoon just over an inch of rainfall was recorded across the island.
Shower activity has significantly decreased over the last few hours, therefore, the flash flood warning has been discontinued.

A flash flood warning is in effect for Barbados from noon until 6 p.m. Monday, but maybe updated sooner.
A flash flood warning is issued when rapid flooding due to heavy or excessive rainfall in a short period of time (generally less than six hours) is occurring or is imminent in the warning area.
Unsettled conditions will persist for much of the afternoon as lines of heavy showers move across the island. Rainfall accumulations of one to two inches are possible throughout the course of the afternoon.
