Police Investigate Drowning Incident of Keith Evelyn Beckles at Brandons Beach, St. Michael

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the drowning death of Keith Evelyn Beckles, 80, at Brandons Beach, St. Michael. Beckles was at the beach with friends before getting into difficulty in choppy water.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the drowning of Keith Evelyn Beckles 80 years of #3 Bluebell Drive, Husbands, S.t James whose unresponsive body was discovered floating in the area of the Water Park along Brandons Beach, St. Michael about 9:19 am on Monday 18th September 2023.
Beckles was at the beach with a group of friends. After a while, the water became choppy and they got into difficulty, resulting in persons on the beach going to their assistance. A check was made and it was discovered that Mr. Beckles was missing. His body was retrieved and brought to shore by Coast Guard personnel. A Medical Doctor pronounced death and a family member identified the body.(PR)
