Charles F Broome produced the most dominant performance of the day in the National Sports Council/BICO Primary School Football Competition, crushing St Patrick’s Roman Catholic 6-0 in the Reginald Haynes/Victor Gaskin Clarke Zone at Blenheim.
Elsewhere in the zone, St Giles secured a convincing 3-0 win over Wilkie Cumberbatch, while St Cyprian’s edged St Paul’s Primary 1-0 and Luther Thorne Memorial slipped past George Lamming by the same margin.
In the Dane Alleyne Zone, St Stephen’s delivered an impressive 4-1 triumph over St Matthew’s, while St Alban’s outscored Sharon 4-2 in an entertaining contest.
In the Keith Grell Griffith Zone at Passage Road, Trinity Academy were beaten 2-0 by Wesley Hall, St Mary’s recorded a 4-0 win over Lawrence T Gay Memorial, while Grazettes Primary and Deacons played to a 1-1 draw.
The remaining game in the zone saw Eden Lodge defeating Westbury 2-1.
Hilda Skeene Primary continued to record good results in the nearby King George V Park. Competing in the Adrian Donovan/Michael Foster Zone, they didn’t need to break sweat, as a result of a 3-0 default victory over Bayleys Primary.
Blackman & Gollop Primary defeated Gordon Walters Primary 2-0, St Catherine’s Primary had a 3-1 win over St Marks and Reynold Weekes edged St Philip Primary 2-1
