A pedestrian perished in a fatal collision that occurred along Bushy Park Main Road, St Philip around 8:50 p.m. on Saturday.
According to Police, Anthony Outram, 44, of Oughterson Road, near Bushy Park was struck by a van owned by the Barbados Police Service.
Lawmen said the van which was travelling along Bushy Park Main Road coming from the direction of Beulah and going towards the Bushy Park racing circuit struck Outram on the left side of the road.
A medical doctor pronounced death at the scene. Outram was identified by family members.
Police are continuing investigations.
