Investigation Underway for Intermittent Water Outages in St Lucy and St Peter

The Barbados Water Authority investigates intermittent water outages and low pressure in St Lucy and St Peter. Residents in affected areas may experience disruptions, but the Authority provides tanker service as a temporary solution while resolving the issue. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) has conducted investigations into reports of intermittent water outages and low pressure that have impacted residents in parts of St Lucy and St Peter today.
The issue is resulting from short stoppages which the Authority has been experiencing at one of its pumping stations in St Peter.
Residents of Alleynedale Road, Babbs and the immediate surrounding districts in St Lucy; Upper Rose Hill, Mount Brevitor, Maynard’s Development, Maynard’s Housing Area, Coral Cliff, Benn Hill Woods, Retreat Road, Skeete’s Road, Ashton Hall, Douglas Development and the immediate surrounding areas in St Peter may be affected.
BWA personnel will continue their investigations to determine the exact source of the problem. In the meantime, the Authority’s tanker service will continue to assist customers as a temporary measure while work to resolve the issue is ongoing.
The Barbados Water Authority apologised for any inconvenience this situation may have caused customers in these districts. (PR/SAT)
