Fire broke out at a well-known eatery at Eagle Hall, St Michael, this afternoon.
Before the Fire Service arrived, members of the community helped with containment of the fire. Two fire trucks are now on the ground.
The Barbados Fire Service has taken control of the scene at Eagle Hall.
The section of the road leading to President Kennedy Drive has been closed to vehicular traffic and members of the public should seek alternative routes.
