Barbados Manufacturers’ Association Launches Rebranded Trade and Innovation Expo

The annual trade show, BMEX, has been rebranded as Trade and Innovation Expo (TIE) by the Barbados Manufacturers’ Association (BMA) to facilitate connections between Barbadian manufacturers and international markets. The event will take place at the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex with over 250 exhibitors.
After 39 years of existence, the annual trade show known as BMEX (Barbados Manufacturers’ Exhibition) has been given a new name.
Yesterday, the Barbados Manufacturers’ Association (BMA) launched its rebranded Trade and Innovation Expo (TIE), at Banks Holdings Limited’s conference room in Newton, Christ Church.
BMA executive director Shardae Boyce said they are placing renewed emphasis on connecting Barbadian manufacturers with markets beyond local shores.
This year’s event will be held at the Gymnasium of the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex and over 250 exhibitors are expected. BMEX has traditionally been held at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre. (CLM)
