The name of the next Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) president should be known by next month.
The CDB’s board of governors announced in a brief statement yesterday that they “convened on November 20 to commence the voting process for the election of the bank’s next president”.
“This process is ongoing and is expected to conclude by December 6, 2024,” the governors added.
There are three candidates being considered to succeed St Lucian economist Dr Hyginus Leon and lead the Barbados-based financial institution.
